New Dynamics 365 tool lets you export your CRM data to PDF in minutes

Writing on the Magnetism blog, Paul Nieuwelaar noted that a new tool lets you export your CRM data in PDF format for free. The tool also offers features that let you customize your PDF file before you download it.

Currently, Microsoft only lets you export CRM data to read-only, non-customizable PDF files available only on Dynamics 365 Sales Premium, Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise, and Dynamics 365 Sales Professional, according to Nieuwelaar. This feature is only available to people with primary sales roles, such as salespeople or sales managers.

Nieuwelaar stated that because of these limitations capturing your CRM data can take several hours to complete. So Magnetism developed Infinity Buttons – Record to PDF, a free tool to help you easily share your CRM data in PDF format in just a few clicks.

In his blog post, Nieuwelaar then explained how the tool works.

Sales order hold options in Dynamics 365

An author writing on the Ellipse Solutions blog stated that Dynamics 365 CRM offers standard functionality for placing and managing sales orders on hold. This includes everything from having a past due balance to needing a new shipping address.

However, if a user wants to place an entire account on hold, they can place a sales order hold on certain orders or create customized blocking rules for the entire customer table or just a select group. Put simply, users can place a couple of different general holds on each customer account – accounts receivable holds and credit holds. In the blog post, the author explained how to do this for each scenario.
