How to show Teams chat on the connected records timeline in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

An author writing on the Inogic blog stated that a previous blog explained how to link teams with Dynamics 365 CRM. In this most recent blog, the author decided to explain how to view a Teams chat in the records timeline.

The author noted that while email and phone calls are effective ways for customer service agents to communicate with customers, casually chatting with them can help resolve their issues faster.  This feature gives them the ability to chat in Microsoft Teams through the customer engagement apps, such as the sales hub and the customer service hub, through custom apps.

In the blog post, the author provided the steps to view Teams chats in the timeline of the related record.

Error handling in Power Automate flows

Writing on the Dynamics Chronicles blog, Sergio Ferraresi explained that low-code solutions using Power Automate flows are becoming more and more popular in Dynamics 365 CRM projects.

However, he noted that there are often maintenance issues with low-code solutions because developers commonly neglect the exception handling aspects of the Power Automate flows under the assumption that "low code" also means "low-error handling."

In his blog post, Ferraresi provided information about how to handle errors in Power Automate flows and how to track them so you can analyze them later. He recommended capturing the errors raised, identifying the action that failed, and getting a description of the reason for the failure.

Ferraresi discussed some of the limitations of the features Power Automate offers out of the box to check the flow executions, how to handle errors that occur in one action, and how to handle errors in multiple actions. He then offered information about using Flow templates to handle errors.

Sending Dynamics 365 emails from queues

On his Dynamics 365 blog, Neil Parkhurst stated that recently he ran into a small challenge, which he decided to blog about to help others who may have the same issue. He explained that he had a requirement to send emails from a queue. However, when he created an email in his Dynamics 365 Sales hub app he could only send emails from users.
