How to conditionally show content based on user web roles with Microsoft Power Apps Portal Pages

On the CRM Software Blog, Rachel Lowenstein from New Dynamic LLC wrote about how to conditionally show or hide content based on the current logged in users' web roles.

Lowenstein stated that sometimes it's necessary to restrict access to certain Dynamics 365 CRM data based on the portal user's login. She noted that you can do this quickly and easily with a small code snippet.

She explained:

To implement this, open your preferred code editor or the portal pages editor. Insert the following code snippet right above the top HTML tag that contains the data you want to hide. You are able to include multiple web roles as well by adding commas between the list.

Lowenstein provided a photo example of this in her post. She noted that with this information, you can show or hide data based on web roles established in the portal management app for users in the Power Apps portal.

Prevent duplicate icons in the focused view of the side pane in Dynamics 365 CRM

On the Inogic blog, Sam Kumar wrote that recently while customizing the side pane in his model-driven app, he encountered an issue where a double icon appeared when he clicked the "focused view" button, resulting in a cluttered UI.
