Generating user security role reports in D365 CE
Writing on his blog, Mahender Pal stated that sometimes you'll need to generate a report that includes the user and their security role for various purposes.
In his post, Pal walks you through some quick and easy steps to create this report in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
There's one out of the box report available called the user summary report that you can access from the reports area or from advanced find. He then stated that after you run the report, you can export the data to Excel easily, but extracting the required information from the output can be a bit challenging because of the way the data is structured.
However, in his blog post, Pal offered an easy way to generate these reports.
