Address validation on your real-time marketing forms using Data8
On her blog, Megan Walker wrote that if you're collecting address details through your real-time marketing forms in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights — Journeys, it would be helpful to check those addresses before they're saved in Dynamics 365.
She noted that would allow you to know the data is correct. She added that it can also make life easier for the person filling out the form since they don't need to type out every line of their address.
Walker also stated that another common problem is figuring out which field matches each part of the address, and the country field can be especially tricky. For example, should someone in the UK type England, United Kingdom, or Great Britain?
According to Walker, a smarter solution is to use a control that suggests and fills in the address as you type. She stated that's exactly what Data8's address validation and predictive autocomplete features can do.
Walker made it clear that she doesn't earn anything from Data8. She wrote that she thinks it's a great way to keep your data clean and validate info before it goes into D365. In her post, she explained how it works.
