Dynamics 365 Business Central is expanding to South Africa, South Korea and the United Arab Emirates, thanks to tax localization and translations developed by three partners and published on AppSource. Joost Bulsink, a program manager for Microsoft highlighted the new availabilities in a blog post.

According to Bulsink, DEEX Korea launched apps for Korean translation, electronic invoicing and VAT. Alfazance Consulting developed a similar VAT reports and exports functionality for the UAE, while Braintree in South Africa deployed invoicing, VAT automation and an app called B-BBEE Scorecard. Bulsink encouraged partners to explore Microsoft's localization development page as well as the Business Central blog for additional updates.

Microsoft announced broader Dynamics 365 Business Central localization plans at Inspire 2018 in July, first reported by Alexander Ermakov. The Business Central team indicated that would expand 16 new countries by the end of 2018 thanks to efforts by Microsoft and partners. It anticipated adding Mexico, Iceland, and Norway by the fall and offered a longer list by year's end through partners. South Africa and the UAE were both included in Microsoft's graphic of anticipated localizations through partners, although South Korea was not shown. Other countries on the list include Thailand, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Ireland, Singapore, the Philippines, Poland, Japan, Taiwan and Malaysia.
