You can export Positive Pay as a comma-delimited file

On her blog, Microsoft MVP Cynthia Priebe asked the question: Can a positive pay file be exported from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) as comma-delimited text file?

While it is possible, users will have to do a bit of work to set it up properly. In her post, Priebe shared a real life example from her client where the BC export did not match the needed format, despite changes to the Data Exchange Definitions (DED).

Priebe explained the challenge, showed how to change the file type, simplified the export file output, and took a few other steps in order to set up the new DED. And while the customer wanted a CSV file originally, Priebe explained why they were able to use a different file extension.

Handling Business Central telemetry like a boss: my Azure Data Explorer dashboard

Writing on his blog, Waldo, aka Eric Wauters, noted that at this year's BCTechDays he did a session on telemetry.

In his blog post, Wauters wrote about the tool (the Azure Data Explorer) he used to do his demo at his session and the dashboard he made that you can also use. He stated that he has significantly improved the tool since his talk, and he has also simplified the dashboard, which makes it much easier to get started.

First Wauters provided some information about the Azure Data Explorer tool and how to get started with it. He then explained how to set up the dashboard.
