Introducing the payables agent
Writing on his blog, Stefano Demiliani stated that with version 26.3 of Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft is launching a public preview of the payables agent, an AI-powered tool designed to help with accounts payable and accounting tasks.
Demiliani wrote that this agent helps you save time and avoid mistakes by automating routine work. For example, he noted that it can pull vendor invoice attachments from email and SharePoint, then use that information to create purchase invoice documents in D365BC for you to review.
Demiliani added that the agent also relies on your company's past purchase history or accounting rules to correctly record the invoices. He stated that this first public preview is available for businesses in the US and UK, and it will be rolled out to other countries and regions in the future.
In his blog post, Demiliani explained how to get started with the payables agent.
