A smarter way to test: Using page scripting to accelerate user acceptance testing

Writing on the ArcherPoint blog, Matt Traxinger noted that testing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central has never been fun.

He wrote that whether you're doing a major upgrade or checking a small change, someone always has to manually click through screen after screen to make sure everything still works. It takes a lot of time, it's boring, and it’s easy to make mistakes.

Traxinger noted that the new page scripting tool in the 2024 wave 1 release is a game changer. It allows developers, consultants, and power users who want to skip the repetitive testing and do it faster and more accurately.

In his blog post, Traxinger explained what the page scripting tool does, some page scripting tips and tricks, and how to make your testing more accurate and efficient.

Writing on the ERP SoftwareBlog, an author from Ternpoint Software stated that the change log has been around in D365BC for a long time.
