Intrastat only available to specific countries in Business Central
On his blog, Ian Grieve wrote that although he can't remember where he first came across this, it came up again in a recent discussion: the Intrastat module in Business Central is now only available for EU countries and the UK.
Grieve noted that previously it was part of the core setup and included in all deployments, regardless of the environment configuration. He stated that now it's only accessible if your environment is set up with an EU country or the UK.
In his blog post, Grieve stated that this could pose a challenge for U.S. companies with subsidiaries in the EU, as they'll now need a separate environment specifically for their EU operations. He wrote that "this not an idle warning; if you try to install it into a U.S. environment, the install will fail."
Namespaces in Business Central
Writing on the CloudFronts blog, Raviraj Hirve stated that namespaces help prevent name conflicts when combining libraries by organizing code into logical groups and hierarchies.
