Reservation policy on item cards

Writing on the Dynamics 365 Community Blog, Jun Wang stated that good inventory management keeps your business running smoothly, and one key feature in Business Central is the reservation policy on the item card. It controls how and when items are reserved so stock is used according to your priorities.

In his post, Wang explained what the reservation policy on the item card is as well as the types of reservation policies.

Finally, Wang wrote that the reservation policy on the item card in D365BC helps businesses manage inventory more effectively. He added that using the right policy can improve stock control, keep important items available, and boost customer satisfaction.
