Microsoft announces 2018 Partner of the Year winners and finalists
Microsoft Corp. has announced the winners and finalists of the Microsoft 2018 Partner of the Year Awards. The award winners and finalists will be recognized at Microsoft Inspire taking place July 15-19, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The annual awards recognize top Microsoft partners demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.This year, Microsoft acknowledged partners in 39 categories, including open source, data, AI, IoT, social impact, learning, public sector, and others. The award finalists and winners were selected from more than 2,600 nominations collected from 115 different countries worldwide based on their commitment to customers, their solutions' impact on the market and exemplary use of Microsoft technologies, according to company officials.
Microsoft recognizes Dynamics partners in five areas, listed below. By comparison you can check out the 2017 award winners here, with some of the same names but different categories.
Dynamics 365 for Field Service
Winner: Velrada. Velrada's field services solution leverages the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Dynamics 365, Azure, and Office 365) to provide a comprehensive solution for large commercial companies such as Sodexo, not-for-profit entities like SilverChain, and government agencies. With a strong focus on competing by leveraging the out-of-the-box capabilities of Dynamics 365, Velrada simplifies and reduces costs by deploying an integrated single-platform solution. Velrada has added several new facilities management clients in the past 12 months.
