Microsoft Corp. has announced the winners and finalists of 2014 Partner of the Year Awards.

The annual awards honor Microsoft partners for delivering innovative solutions during the past year that directly address customer challenges. The award winners and finalists, will be recognized at the 2014 Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference in Washington, DC in July.

There were over 3200 nominations submitted from 112 different countries for the 46 different global award opportunities this year. There are also 96 different Country Partner of the Year Awards honoring partner achievements across the globe. A complete list can be found here.

Several of the awards cover the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem, and the awards and finalists covered a range of companies, with only a few receiving more than one mention. Accenture/Avanade was both a winner as the System Integration award (the two organizations cover far more Microsoft-related services than just Dynamics), and Tribridge was a finalist for both ERP and ‘Public Safety and National Security'.  Sitecore, makers of web content and marketing platform technology, took the overall ISV award. The company's platform integrates with Dynamics CRM and the two products are part of a recently announced showcase solution featured in Microsoft Technology Centers.

There are several returning winners and finalists from the 2013 partner awards, including Tribridge, PowerObjects, eBECS, Hitachi Solutions America (including the acquired team that used to be Customer Effective), HSO Group, and SMB Suite

The 2014 Microsoft WPC Partner award winners and finalists included these Dynamics-related categories:
