Microsoft adopts Cadence for RAMP Phase II

Cadence Design Systems announced that it was chosen by Microsoft for the Microsoft Rapid Assured Microelectronics Prototypes (RAMP) Phase II initiative. Part of the US Department of Defense S2SMARTS and National Security Technology Accelerator programs, RAMP focuses on secure microelectronics design methods.

For Phase II, Cadence is providing system-on-chip designs for defense industrial base prototype designs. The company plans to support government 5G and AI apps.
