MetraTech to Integrate Billing Solution With Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011

MetraTech Corp., a provider of charging, billing, settlement and customer care software has integrated its MetraNet Billing solution with Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011. The announcement was made at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.

The integration will improve MetraNet's configurable billing solution with an online and on-premise connection to Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011, according to the company.

The integration with Microsoft Dynamics CRM will help MetraTech's customers cut the risk and effort involved in synchronizing the billing solution with ready-to-publish solutions built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 for order capture, billing provisioning and relationship management, company officials said.

"The integration of MetraNet and Microsoft Dynamics CRM is a winning combination for service providers seeking a dynamic customer management platform that is fully integrated and configurable to their own business model and industry best practices," said Doug Zone, MetraTech CTO, in a statement. "MetraTech has a long history of delivering successful customer billing solutions developed on Microsoft technologies, and we look forward to extending that success with the integration to Microsoft Dynamics CRM."

Service providers in the communications, financial services, cloud and smart grid sectors have become more aware that they need to deliver a well-orchestrated customer experience-from the first marketing outreach, through successful sign-on, to a clear and understandable bill, official said. So service providers are pushing CRM beyond traditional customer relationship management to more business modeling and automation across the entire enterprise, using the push-button capabilities and workflow support of the Dynamics CRM application development framework, according to the company.

Through the integration with Dynamics CRM 2011, MetraTech billing and customer care capabilities become part of the overall customer management system for the Dynamics CRM customer.
