Merit Solutions has launched another new entry into the life sciences space with its MAXLife software for Microsoft Dynamics AX for medium enterprise and large global life sciences companies.

MAXLife for Microsoft Dynamics AX helps life sciences organizations connect with business partners and customers, improve their business processes, and improve compliance with regulations including GxP, Sarbanes Oxley, and 21 CFR Part 11 and Part 820.

"Merit Solutions has a ten year, successful track record of providing software solutions to Life Sciences companies," said Bill Burke, President and Chief Executive Office of Merit Solutions Inc., in a statement. "With MAXLife for Microsoft Dynamics AX, we are providing medium and large enterprise Life Sciences companies the choice to leverage the benefits of the Microsoft platform. These companies now have the opportunity to give their employees a system that is more familiar to use, easier to deploy, and has a lower total cost of ownership than the business systems choices they have had in the past."

Merit said the MAXLife software extends the core Microsoft Dynamics AX ERP and Advanced Distribution software to meet life sciences company requirements including:

  • Increased Materials Management, Control, and Traceability
  • CAPA Tracking and Resolution
  • SharePoint Part 11 Document Management and Control
  • Electronic Signatures
  • Digital Signatures
  • Contracts / Charge backs
  • ePedigree Tracking for Distribution Compliance
  • Cost of Quality Insight and Management

Recently, consulting and systems integration firm Business & Decision also introduced a life sciences solution running on Microsoft Dynamics AX.
