LG and Microsoft partner for autonomous vehicle technology

LG Electronics and Microsoft signed a memorandum of understanding that LG will use Azure and Microsoft AI capabilities for both its autonomous vehicle and infotainment.

LG plans to incorporate Microsoft AI with its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and Driver-Status Monitoring Camera products. Azure Data Box service will automatically upload and create libraries from data collected on the road. Additionally, Microsoft's Virtual Assistant Solution Accelerator will be integrated with LG onboard infotainment systems, allowing drivers to check traffic conditions, look up restaurants or songs by voice command.
