Latest Virtual Private Cloud Offering Comes from HP, Emphasizes Security and Privacy for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Users

There's a new private cloud offering, this one for users of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.

 HP Enterprise Services, a division of Hewlett-Packard, recently released a new service to help clients improve their customers' experiences by deploying their customer relationship management (CRM) applications via a secure, virtual private cloud.

The new HP Enterprise Cloud Services for Microsoft Dynamics CRM lets enterprises use a virtual private cloud to improve customer and constituent relationships without upfront infrastructure costs or the hassle of procuring and deploying the application, according to HP.

Microsoft partner Tribridge also has private cloud offerings-SaaS and IT as a service-for all five of the Dynamics products: GP, SL, AX, NAV, and CRM, said Greg Pierce, Managing Director, Cloud Computing, Infrastructure and Security, Tribridge.

These days it seems that cloud computing is all the rage because companies are looking for ways to save money while operating more efficiently.

"The offering that we announced is enterprise services for Microsoft Dynamics CRM, an alternative to the on-premise implementation and hosting services we offer," said Mark Yujuico, CRM Product Marketing, HP Enterprise Services. "We offer it in data centers around the world in two flavors-some have it in a single tenant or dedicated instance and we have other clients that take it in a multi-tenant, leveraged environment."

Yujuico said the offering that companies select depends on the complexity of their environments and their back-end data requirements.
