Latest Microsoft Dynamics AX and CRM MVP Awards Include Eight Newcomers, Seventeen Veterans

by Jason Gumpert

Microsoft made its last round of MVP awards in July, but names of new and renewed MVPs in the Dynamics space only leaked out piecemeal, mainly by way of blog posts and tweets.  While there are around 4,000 MVPs overall in the Microsoft ecosystem, and 982 awards were handed out in the most recent round, only a handful of these go to Dynamics professionals, making it one of the most important ways of recognizing leaders in the Dynamics product communities.

MVPs are nominated by Microsoft, other community individuals, or in some cases themselves, according to Microsoft.  This most recent round on July 1 saw ten Dynamics AX MVP awards and seventeen Dynamics CRM awards handed out (lists below).  Of those, Microsoft named four new MVPs from each product.  We're still awaiting the complete lists from GP and NAV, and we'll update you with that information when it's available.

By comparison, this round is already looking more generous than the last one for Dynamics, where only  three new MVPs were named in the previous round for all of the Dynamics product (one each for CRM, AX, and NAV), with only three total awards in AX and ten for CRM.

Here are new and returning Dynamics AX and CRM MVPs from the latest round:

Dynamics AX MVPs - NEW

  • Antonio Gilabert (Spain)
  • Brandon George (USA)
  • Evgeny Glazov (Russia)
  • Joris de Gruyter (USA)

Dynamics CRM MVPS - NEW

  • Damian Sinay (Argentina)
  • Ramón Tebar Bueno (Spain)
  • Gustaf Westerlund (Sweden)
