Keyora’s Customers Seek Easy Microsoft Dynamics AX and GP Integration in Complex E-Commerce Needs

For Keyora Inc., the goal is simple: to help customers using Microsoft Dynamics AX and Dynamics GP run their e-commerce businesses more efficiently.

The company does that by giving those organizations the tools they need to implement a fully integrated e-business platform that extends the functions of their back office solutions to an online self-service web portal, according to Catherine Roberts, Keyora's business development manager.

Keyora's Webfoot e-Business Platform provides mid-market and enterprise organizations a real-time e-business environment that takes all the customer and item content from Dynamics and presents it to their customers, employees and trading partners in a common browser format, according to the company.

"[Dynamics] currently integrates through our Webfoot embedded synchronization engine, Webfoot DataSync, but we're looking to do it through Microsoft's Azure platform," Roberts said.

"Currently it has three interfaces: a website portal where customers or vendors or business partners can log in, enter orders and update their information; the back office is the content management system where the information is then integrated into Dynamics so the administrator of the website can go in and update on the fly, pricing or colors or images or other details about the product or anything they want to do for the customer; or they can do it through Dynamics itself," Roberts said. "Whichever way they choose it's a real-time integration and updates will be reflected in the portal. It's 100% web-based and because it's also a disconnected model, if AX or GP goes down, any information processed would still be processed and updated in Dynamics when the application is restored."
