K-eCommerce secures $2.3M funding led by BDC Capital

K-eCommerce, a provider of cloud-based e-commerce integrated into certain ERP systems, has closed a financing round of $2.3 million by BDC Capital, the investment arm of BDC, a Canadian bank geared to entrepreneurs.

K-eCommerce plans to invest the money in research and product development, as well as increased sales and marketing efforts. The company will also purchase new equipment and improve the infrastructure for its Canadian and U.S. locations, according to company officials.

K-eCommerce offers an e-commerce platform that supports both business-to-business and business-to-consumer models, integrated with Microsoft Dynamics and SAP Business One, according to k-eCommerce CEO Laurent Allardin.
