Microsoft doesn't reveal the total number of Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (formerly "Finance and Operations", or D365FO) customers, but the latest public metrics indicate the service has continued to grow steadily over the last year. Microsoft officials report they have doubled the number of customers in production in the last 12 months, and the monthly active user (MAU) count has more than tripled in the same period.

Speaking to the Ignite 2019 audience, Microsoft Technical Fellow and Dynamics ERP CTO Mike Ehrenberg said the team is happy with the progress and expect it to continue.

"We expect that number of [monthly active] users to grow. We expect that number of customers to go up but the number of users to go up more," he said.
