How Do Dynamics Users Manage Key Data? New Reporting and Analytics Survey Probes Challenges

by Jason Gumpert
Editor, MSDynamicsWorld.com

Ask a dozen Dynamics customers how they do reporting and analysis of their Dynamics-managed information and you're likely to get a dozen different answers - maybe more if you ask more than one person per organization.

In an effort to understand how Dynamics customers handle reporting and analytics-and how they rate their companies' handling of key competitive data--MSDynamicsWorld.com has launched a new survey for Dynamics customers.

Click here to take the survey.

Reporting is challenging, and we are interested in understanding the most common challenges that customers face.  Participation takes only four minutes or less.

The survey covers such topics as industry competition, reporting methodology, and typical reporting headaches.  One main area of interest is how respondents rate their organization's performance in various areas like managing cash flow, supplier performance, and sales cycles.

Another area of interest is the range of reporting tools that customers currently use.  Microsoft is putting a growing emphasis on the use of SQL Server Reporting Services, but there is still heavy competition among a wide variety of add-on solution providers.

The survey runs through April 30, 2010, and participants will be eligible to win gift cards.
