harmon.ie aims its AI tech at sales productivity with Collage for Microsoft Dynamics 365

harmon.ie's has announced Collage for Dynamics 365, a new application using its Collage AI technology that collects and analyzes data from enterprise applications including SharePoint, Zendesk, Office365, SharePoint, and Yammer to provide an optimized view of what's happening with customers and prospects.

The harmon.ie team believes that the proliferation of enterprise applications can be detrimental to employee productivity. The company believes the cognitive burden cause by maintaining data in multiple systems can be eased by AI technology that can review, understand, and selectively present relevant information. In the case of Collage for Dynamics 365, the application centralizes information that sales reps and account managers need about their customers and prospects. Collage keeps users in Outlook while presenting and anlyzing the relevant information that resides in those other systems, according to the company.

Collage for Dynamics 365 is not a Dynamics plug in for Outlook, a company spokesman clarified, but it provides its findings in an Outlook sidebar. For example, a sales person might receive an email with information about a new RFP sent by a colleague to a prospect. Collage for Dynamics 365 would show related information like issues the prospect has previously raised in Zendesk, documents that have traded hands and been stored in SharePoint, and account status in Dynamics 365. If something about the status looked irregular, the user could click to launch Dynamics 365 and view the record, getting the full picture that explains the status and any resulting actions that are needed.
