Dynamic Communities, the organization that oversees the four Dynamics user groups, announced that it has begun offering new training programs for each group.

The four programs are known as: AXUG Academy, CRMUG Academy, GPUG Academy, and NAVUG Academy. The Academy is offering what Dynamic Communities says is "a variety of professional, cost-effective learning opportunities to aid Microsoft Dynamics customers and partners in increasing their business effectiveness."

According to Dynamic Communities, participants in the training classes must be User Group members. Instructors are typically Microsoft MVPs, partners, and experienced trainers. While some of the courses will be available free to User Group members who have premium memberships, others will require fees, but at much lower rates than comparable programs.

The courses are being offered in three different formats including:

Distance Learning, with classes typically conducted as a half-day course, or two half-day courses with a combination of a conference call/VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol), and a remote desktop connection. Most distance learning courses cover topics that directly relate to Microsoft Dynamics modules or add-ons.
  2. Computer Based Training (CBT), which provides students the ability to select from over 2,600 titles of self-paced training on topics ranging from Human Resources and Business Leadership, to Desktop Software and Microsoft Certification classes.
  3. Onsite programs, which are offered as half and full-day classes on a variety of functional and technical topics relating to Microsoft Dynamics solutions.

According to Mark Rhodes, director of Academy, "The pilot courses we held were sold out. This tells us the Academy is providing huge amounts of value, at a very low price and something that our members have been desperately looking for."
