Esker launches new Dynamics 365 F&O Connector for AP automation

Process automation platform provider Esker announced that they recently launched their Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Connector, a pre-built integration to the Esker Accounts Payable solution.

The connector leverages a combination of integration technologies provided by Microsoft, according to the company. It validates invoices against current data in D365 F&O using the Microsoft OData API, according to the company, including vendor numbers, financial dimensions, 2-way and 3-way reconciliation against purchase orders, and product receipts.

The connector includes a custom web service that is installed in D365 and manages voucher creation, error handling, and acknowledgment back to Esker. The integration is synchronous and on-demand, according to a company representative. There is no reliance on data replication, job scheduling or batch processing, and the integration is secured through Azure app registration. 

"Because the connector leverages Microsoft web services, users can be confident that the data in Esker is the same as in F&O, and they can confidently use Esker's advanced OCR and AI technologies to validate and post invoices easily and efficiently," said a company representative. "As Microsoft’s legacy ERPs approach end-of-life and move to the cloud, this connector removes the obstacles and complexity around integration and ensures that our customers will start realizing the benefits of Esker Accounts Payable as quickly as possible."
