Dynamics Profile: New Dynamics NAV MVP Roberto Stefanetti Eager to Share More Broadly

Roberto StefanettiJust one month after Roberto Stefanetti received his first Microsoft Dynamics NAV MVP award in July, he was already reaping some very tangible benefits. For example, the number of people who visited his blog and reached out to contact him tripled.

That added visibility means he is able to share his knowledge with more members of the community.

"It's important to give back to the community because sometimes you also learn by solving problems," he says. "So you never stop learning and lately with NAV, there is a lot to learn."

Stefanetti is a product and line manager at Soluzioni EDP SRL, a NAVlab company, which is based in Vercelli, Italy. He works as a project manager for a number of projects, including Italian rollouts of NAV.

He also works as a technical and functional consultant for many NAVlab companies, with an expertise in manufacturing, trade and inventory and logistics, retail, Web services, SQL Server and systems integration.

Stefanetti first discovered Dynamics NAV in 2004 (when it was still Navision), after he discovered a product add-on related to fashion technologies.

"After I saw that add-on, I decided to study and improve my knowledge about NAV," he says. "NAV is an international product. And many companies also use it in Italy. It is certainly an interesting product in the small and midsize market. Then I asked my old company if I could develop my knowledge on this product."
