Dynamics AX / 365 general manager Sri Srinivasan departing Microsoft

Sri SrinivasanSri Srinivasan, one of the longest serving managers on the Microsoft Dynamics team, has announced he is leaving Microsoft.

The news comes after several months out of the Dynamics community spotlight starting in autumn 2018 with what was described to MSDW as a sabbatical. Since that time, the visible role of R&D lead for Dynamics AX/365 for Finance and Operations Enterprise has gone to Muhammad Alam, who made one of his first appearances in that role in October 2017 at DCI's D365UG/AXUG Summit 2017 event.

Srinivasan delivered the news of his departure from Microsoft on LinkedIn on Friday:

Today is my last day at Microsoft. I start a new and exciting journey on Monday, March 5th. Before we go there, want to take the time to be thankful for the 13 great years at this amazing company working on Dynamics Products. Dynamics is and always will be a passion and source of excitement for me. Everyday at this great company was an opportunity to learn, innovate and express my passion for Dynamics and AX, in particular. Personally, I have grown as an individual, as a leader and as a technologist and as a cloud fan. I was able to bring my customer first culture, which was embraced with glee.
