Cumulative Update 2 for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015 released, 2009 Mainstream Support nears end

Microsoft has released Cumulative Update 2 for Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2015. The release includes all application (Administration, Finance, Inventory, Manufacturing, Marketing, Purchase, Sales, Service and Warehouse) and platform hotfixes and regulatory features that have been released for Dynamics NAV 2015.

The cumulative update includes hotfixes that apply to all countries and hotfixes specific to the following localizations: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Finland, France, Iceland, Italy, North America, Netherlands, Norway, New Zealand, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.

Additionally, mainstream support for all Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 versions ends January 13, 2015. As Dynamics NAV MVP Aleksandar Totovic points out, the beginning of the lengthy sunset period for NAV 2009 support also means the beginning of the end of the NAV classic client. This milestone could be a good time for customers to think about upgrading to a newer version like NAV 2015.
