ComunidadCRM building out new Spanish language resources for Microsoft Dynamics CRM

Several years ago, Pablo Peralta, now a Microsoft Dynamics CRM MVP, expressed his concern to the powers that be about the lack of information about Dynamics CRM in Spanish.

"I shared the idea about building some type of community for CRM in Spanish," said Peralta, who co-founded UruIT Global IT Services, a provider firm in Dynamics CRM outsourcing services for partners, in Uruguay.

Peralta liked the idea of community because he knew he wouldn't be able to write about all the issues related to CRM and share his knowledge about the application on his own.

So to fill the gap for the Spanish speaking Dynamics CRM community, Peralta started ElBlogDeDynamicsCRM, a blog featuring contributions from several members of the community. Last year, Peralta rolled the blog into ComunidadCRM, a new non-profit community of Dynamics CRM in Spanish, connecting users, customers, partners, experts, MVPs and Microsoft team members in new, modern and revamped 2.0 platform.

ComunidadCRM now has 1,500 registered members and receives 16,000 page views per month, according to Silvana Saporiti, the group's program coordinator.

The community consists of a blog where members share their experiences with Dynamics CRM, discussions on issues related to CRM, and a section devoted entirely to Dynamics CRM 2013.

There's also an online academy that offers lessons primarily intended for users, business analysts, functional analysts and implementers who want to learn about the sales process in Dynamics CRM and its associated activities.

Saporiti said she coordinates all the educational activities and events and also works closely with Dynamics partners that want to benefit from the exposure the community gives them.
