Bedrock Data launching self-service integration platform with Series A funding
Bedrock Data officially launches its self-service data integration platform this week with the announcement of a $3.1 million Series A funding round.
The company is targeting customers looking for simplified integration scenarios for customer-focused data across a broad range of cloud-based business systems. The platform has been live since 2014, with the most common integrations involving HubSpot and Salesforce. The platform supports a range of integrations including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, NetSuite, SugarCRM, and other ERP, marketing automation, and e-commerce solutions.
At launch, the company already has a list of over 250 clients including HubSpot's INBOUND, OBP Medical, Inc., Socious, Eventbrite, Bigcommerce, and Contactually.
Three of the four company co-founders came from marketing and web optimization platform company HubSpot. Bedrock Data CEO John Marcus says that in 2012, while still at HubSpot, the team identified the need for an integration solution and began working on it as a side project, with the blessing of their managers. HubSpot is, perhaps unsurprisingly, still one of their most common connectors, Marcus says. HubSpot sales reps see the Bedrock Data's platform as a way to help smooth the sales process - with an offering that can connect systems within a few hours without any setup fees.
The offering starts at $149 per month. Pricing is based on the concept of centralized data documents that synchronize changes across systems.
