YugabyteDB launches on Azure

Yugabyte, a California-based distributed SQL database company announced the public availability of YugabyteDB Managed on Azure. With the update, customers are able to deploy the offering as a managed database as a service across the three largest cloud providers. Currently, the service is available in 66 regions including 15 Azure regions.

Yugabyte works to maintain a high availability service by combining PostgreSQL with distributed cloud native architecture. To achieve this it dynamically scale database clusters and works to make workloads easy to transfer.

Kentik maps Azure infrastructure

Kentik, a network observability company, announced the general availability of Kentik Map for Azure. The offering provides network observability for multi-cloud and particularly Azure infrastructure in Kentik Cloud.
