Sectra carries out cloud migration for NHS trusts
Sectra, a Swedish medical imaging and cybersecurity company announced a contract with East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust in the UK. It will digitize pathology diagnosis for NHS Trusts covering two million people. Pathologists will be able to exchange digitized slides in the cloud. The managed cloud deployment will take place in Microsoft Azure.
“NHS diagnostic services are undergoing the biggest transformation seen in decades, if not centuries, as disciplines like pathology digitize. East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust and West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust are at the forefront of that journey, and are particularly innovative in their use of cloud computing to ensure their program remains scalable and sustainable,” stated Jane Rendall, managing director for Sectra in the UK and Ireland.
Crunchy Bridge launches in Azure Marketplace
Crunchy Data, an open source PostgreSQL company announced the availability of its Crunchy Bridge offering in Azure Marketplace. The offering is a managed PostgreSQL service with backups, disaster recovery, encryption at rest and in transit, high availability, extensions, pause and resume capabilities, and Container Apps.
