At AXUG Summit 2015, Users Can Expect Deeper Dives, Industry Detail

by Dann Anthony Maurno
Assistant Editor, MSDW

Paul Vaughan is drawing from his personal experiences working with Microsoft Dynamics AX to give attendees at AXUG Summit 2015, running October 13 through 16 in Reno, Nevada, a great experience. Paul has been in his role as AXUG Program Director since May 1, but is a long-time user of Dynamics AX and has attended the last eight AXUG Summits.

With the unique experience of a user attendee of Summit, Vaughan brings a new perspective to planning Summit 2015. Vaughan and his team are aiming to deliver a valuable experience in 2015 with over 200 sessions. The event will feature deeper dives into areas like manufacturing and workflow, vertical-specific sessions, and new tracks. We asked Vaughan to tell us more about what attendees can expect at this year's event.

MSDW: What do attendees get at the AXUG Summit that they may not find at other conferences?

Vaughan: Last year in St. Louis we had over 1,100 in attendance and we are on track to exceed that number in Reno this year. One of the great things about Summit is that you will be at a conference with well over 1,100 other Dynamics AX users.  Think about the networking possibilities!  Another great part of attending AXUG Summit is the educational aspect. We have teed up well over 200 sessions in over 30 tracks with a host of functional and technical topics. You will not find a place where you will get more content around project management, the cloud, business intelligence, and of course the core Dynamics AX product. There are sessions covering prior and current versions of Dynamics AX including Dynamics AX 2009, Dynamics AX 2012 and Dynamics AX 2012 R3.
