Aptean acquires Agiles, expanding its food and beverage ERP portfolio

Aptean, a provider of enterprise software, has acquired Agiles, a Microsoft Gold partner and provider of ERP software to the fresh food wholesale and trade industry in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Aptean, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, said its products are used by more than 5,000 customers worldwide.

The acquisition of the Hamburg, Germany-based company allows Aptean to further expand into the food and beverage ERP market in Europe, particularly in the markets served by Agile. As part of Aptean, Agiles can now offer its customers access to Aptean’s complementary products.
