The upcoming AI Business Solutions Partner Executive Summit 2026 on July 29 and 30 brings Dynamics 365 and Power Platform partners together to hear Microsoft’s latest strategy, programs, and market outlook on AI‑driven business growth in FY27.

In a recent conversation with Giuseppe Ianni, leader of community at event organizer DCI, he explained that community feedback directly shaped this year’s expanded format and why Microsoft’s new fiscal year represents a critical moment for partners, ISVs, and Microsoft alike. A Deeper Event Experience

The most visible change of the Partner Executive Summit this year will be the expansion from 24 to 36 hours. It is a shift the community explicitly requested, Giuseppe said. With more time, the event now incorporates:

  • Focused roundtables designed for deeper, more candid discussions
  • Breakouts split into ISV and SI tracks, enabling targeted exploration of incentives, collaboration models, and joint go‑to‑market strategies
  • Vertical‑specific sessions, especially prominent on Day 2, highlighting how partners and ISVs are driving success in industry scenarios

Giuseppe emphasized that this year’s agenda consciously added time to showcase partner success stories.

Stronger Microsoft Participation and Alignment

Microsoft’s involvement was a highlight last year, and the 2026 Summit will again feature a full lineup of company representatives. Business Applications leaders Georg Glantschnig, Mike Morton, and Cecilia Flombaum return, along with AI product leader James Oleinik, D365 product marketers Karan Nigam and Dave Barlin, and channel experts Uriel Rootshtain and Eric Fink.

Ianni noted that the event team is also allotting more time to feature case studies that demonstrate how Microsoft sellers, ISVs, and partners collaborate to win.

“The refined speaker lineup will ensure tighter alignment with partner priorities across managed and unmanaged segments,” he said. Microsoft has also shown interest in expanding discussions around industry and vertical strategy, which will be woven throughout this year’s talk tracks.

New Additions: Roundtables, Networking, and a Future‑Facing Keynote

Several new elements aim to enrich this year’s AI Business Solutions Partner Executive Summit experience.

  • A test automation roundtable will bring several expert perspectives together on how automation is evolving in the AI era
  • Organizers have planned for more networking time in response to attendee feedback
  • A new venue, the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington, supports the larger scale and elevated experience
  • James Oleinik’s keynote, which will spotlight the latest capabilities related to agentic workflows and the emerging impact of Agent365

A Summit Built for Partner Success

The 2026 Summit aims to activate partners by bringing them a differentiated experience focused on the themes they need to build on in Microsoft’s FY27, Ianni said. The expanded schedule, broader Microsoft perspective, and the introduction of new session focused on partner success, organizers expect that attendees will leave with new connections and a new understanding of how to invest in the AI Business Solutions ecosystem.
