Accellos and HighJump Software merge to offer broader supply chain product line

Accellos Highjump merger 

Two of the major supply chain management software vendors in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP community, Accellos and HighJump Software, have agreed to merge. The new organization will have 11,000 customers in 23 countries with operations in North America, Asia and Europe.  The combination of the two companies creates a product portfolio that covers retail, distribution, manufacturing, and logistics.

The merged company will operate under the name HighJump and continue to use the Accellos brand for midmarket supply chain execution technology.  Accellos founder and CEO Michael Cornell has been appointed CEO.

The merger had the backing of Accellos's majority owner, the private equity firm Accel-KKR. The firm took a majority stake in Accellos (PDF) in October 2012 and supported its acquisition of PROFITSystems (PDF) in November 2013.
