Sana Has Become Source Code Authorized Partner for Microsoft Dynamics GP

Now a Source Code Authorized Partner for Microsoft Dynamics GP, Sana Commerce moves one step closer to the release of their e-commerce solution with integration to this Dynamics ERP system.

Sana has become one of the few members of this exclusive Microsoft Dynamics GP program to ensure the release of their e-commerce platform with integration to this ERP system functions flawlessly. Sana plans to accompany the release of their GP integration with Certified for Microsoft Dynamics (CfMD) status, and this program makes that goal even more obtainable.

As a Source Code Authorized Partner for Microsoft Dynamics GP, Sana also gains early access to future releases of this ERP system. This ensure readiness of the Sana e-commerce platform for new versions of GP, even before they are available to end users.

The foundation of Microsoft Dynamics GP is the Dexterity development environment. This platform was initially put in place for additional development to be done on the ERP system. After Microsoft purchased GP, they made it possible for some development to be executed through .NET developer tools, however, certain types of customizations still require development to be executed in Dexterity, which is a less commonly used programming language.

While developers can be successful without ever having seen the source code in GP, having access allows the Sana team to build a tighter integration and test how it will work, prior to the release.
