Microsoft's supplier communications agent: automate procurement tasks in Dynamics 365 F&SCM

On the ERP Software Blog, an author from Boyer & Associates wrote that companies need to stop chasing suppliers for order confirmations during their busy workdays. Instead, they should let AI handle the heavy lifting while their teams focus on what really needs their attention.

The author posed a stressful last-minute scenario: chasing three different suppliers about critical delivery confirmations. Workers are left scrambling to draft follow-up emails, hunting down purchase order numbers, and wondering if that shipment delay is going to impact next week's production schedule.

The author noted that there's an AI assistant that could handle all of that automatically — and it's already built into D365 F&SCM. The author then explained how to use the AI assistant to automate procurement tasks.

Deploy a preview version to a unified environment
