Flexible line display in purchase order report – Business Central RDLC layout
On the CloudFronts blog, Shubham Prajapati wrote that when you're customizing reports in Business Central, it can be hard to keep the layout consistent when the number of lines changes.
He stated that this usually happens in certain reports, such as purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices, where the line section grows or shrinks depending on the data.
However, Prajapati noted that sometimes a business needs the layout to stay the same no matter how many lines there are, such as when they want equal spacing or blank lines for manual notes.
In his blog post, Prajapati explained how to create a fixed, uniform layout using only RDLC design, with no changes to AL code or the dataset.

Writing on the ERP Software Blog, an author from CAL Business Solutions stated that handling recurring expense splits across departments in D365BC can take up a lot of time each month.
