Writing on his blog, David Musgrave noted that The Knights of GP is a community co-op made up of customers, consultants, ISVs, and partners who want to keep Microsoft Dynamics GP alive and supported even after Microsoft ends its official support.
He stated that the goal of the community is to enable the people who use and care about GP to maintain and improve it together.
Musgrave wrote that The Knights of GP is being led by Njevity, a Dynamics GP hosting partner best known for creating PowerGP Online. He added that his company, Winthrop Development Consultants, is part of the Knights of GP co-op.
Musgrave stated that Microsoft plans to end support for Dynamics GP in December 2029 and stop security updates by 2031. He noted that many GP users, however, don't want to spend the time and money—or take the risk—of switching systems when their current GP setup still works well.
Musgrave then explained how The Knights of GP can help.
