Release wave 1 2025 Customer Insights – Data

Writing on her blog, Malin Martnes reviewed new features planned for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Data for release wave 1 in 2025. She stated that while there are no updates planned after May for D365 CI-Journey, D365 CI-Data plans extend through November. 

In her blog post, Martnes wrote about the following new features:

  • Get responses grounded in customer insights when chatting with Copilot
  • Increase accuracy of autonomous agents by grounding them
  • Use Microsoft OneLake as a data source
  • Accelerate time to insights with data in Delta Lake format
  • Synchronize customer data and insights directly to Fabric OneLake
  • Integrate insights faster by choosing tables and data format to sync
  • Target the right audience based on signals from earlier campaigns

2025 wave 1 plans for Dynamics 365 Sales

On her blog, Dian Taylor also wrote about the new features in D365 Sales, including the sales qualification agent, a type of custom autonomous agent (also known as a Copilot) built into D365 Sales to help streamline the sales qualification process.
