Microsoft acquires IP rights to Fenwick’s Power BI Report Packs for Dynamics 365 Business Central

Microsoft has acquired the rights to Fenwick Software's Fenwick Gold for Power BI report packs for Dynamics 365 Business Central, the company announced. 

Microsoft will use Fenwick's IP in prebuilt dashboards and reports designed for common functional areas in Business Central including finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, and projects

Microsoft VP for Business Central Mike Morton wrote in August that new finance reports in Power BI were coming to the product in 2024 release wave 2. The new reports give customers an  overview of finance KPIs and allow for the creation of custom dashboards and metrics.
