IT services firm Leidos expands partnership with Microsoft

System integrator Leidos announced a new strategic partnership with Microsoft. The Virginia-based Fortune 500 company works in a range of industries including  civil, defense, health, and intelligence and plans to use Azure to accelerate its artificial intelligence transformation.

Together with Microsoft, Leidos plans to co-develop generative AI capabilities for cross domain applications and organizational efficiency. Recently, Leidos migrated 20 mission critical apps from on-prem to Azure Government cloud for the US Navy, as part of the Department of the Navy's Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) Service Management, Integration, and Transport program, helping to inspire the partnership.

Leidos' expertise in national security operations coupled with Microsoft's advanced cloud, cyber, and AI technologies will enable our two organizations to develop innovative solutions to address a wide range of complex challenges faced by public sector organizations around the world,” stated Angela Heise, Corporate Vice President, Worldwide Public Sector, Microsoft.
