How to set up automatic remittance advice emails in Dynamics 365 Finance
Writing on the Rand Group blog, Jamie Eusepi pointed out that it is critical for organizations to efficiently manage payments and maintain strong relationships with their vendors. She noted that to enhance these processes, companies should use the remittance advice emails feature in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
She stated that this tool enables businesses to streamline their accounts payable procedures, improve communication with vendors, and save time. In her blog post, Eswaran explained what the issue is and offered a solution.
How to navigate through the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations interface
On the Encore Business Solutions blog, Kailey Acuña stated that her blog post will help users navigate through the D365FO interface while also offering some tips and tricks to ease their initial training when using the system.
In her post, Acuña first explained how to navigate the D365FO homepage as a system administrator. She stated that end-users may only have access to a handful of the modules that she discussed in her post so the admin home page view may not mimic exactly what users will see on their home page.
Acuña then discussed how users can navigate to customer records and described what the standard grid looked like for the "all customer" page in D365FO. Next, Acuña explained how to add columns to accounts receivable and how to navigate customer records.
Finally, she offered a number of tips and tricks to help if users encounter any issues navigating through the D365FO interface.
Archive data in D365FO
Writing on her blog, Anitha Eswaran noted that since data is constantly increasing, companies should consider archiving to ensure their systems are performing effectively. Eswaran stated that the new "archive set up" feature in D365FO, which is simple to configure, moves the data to another table, therefore querying data from the current table is effective.
