Microsoft shares details about its efforts to boost scientific innovation with Azure Quantum
Microsoft Executive Vice President Jason Zander shared an update about the company's three new Quantum capabilities in a bid to “solve intractable problems to unlock growth and human progress.”
Quantum Elements combines high performance computing, quantum computing, and AI. It promises to speed up chemistry simulations by 500,000 times. Because it is specifically targeted to chemistry, major chemistry companies like BASF, Johnson Mathey, and 1910 Genetics are already using the offering.
