Text Request releases Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales integration
Text Request, a business messaging platform, now integrates with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales. Using the new integration, built specifically for the Sales module of Dynamics 365, users can text back and forth with contacts throughout the sales cycle using their existing business phone numbers, according to the company. They can also record every interaction in Dynamics. Specific features of the integration include:
- Sync contacts: All contacts added to Dynamics will flow into Text Request in real-time.
- Sync messages: Any text sent or received via Text Request will show up in that contact’s activity history in Dynamics.
- Text directly from Dynamics: Texts can be sent through Dynamics via Text Request’s Chrome browser extension (also works with other browsers, including Microsoft Edge).

allonline365 aims to empower non-profit organizations with Dynamics 365 offerings
allonline365, a Microsoft partner in South Africa, is helping non-profit organizations (NPOs) overcome their unique challenges by using ERP, CRM, and business intelligence solutions available in Microsoft Dynamics 365 products.
allonline365 specializes in optimizing the operations and fundraising efforts of NPOs by implementing and customizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions. Thanks to its more than 20 years of experience in the technology industry, allonline365 understands the unique needs and challenges of NPOs, according to the company. And because of its expertise in Microsoft business applications, allonline is able to customize solutions to meet the specific needs of each organization.
For example, allonline has helped NPOs, such as Cape Town Tourism and the National Sea Rescue Institute, to streamline their operations and fundraising processes using Dynamics 365 and Power BI, the company said. This has saved the NPOs time and resources and allowed them to focus more on delivering high-quality programs to their beneficiaries.
Solteq sells its ERP business to Azets
On April 17, 2023, Finland-based Solteq signed an agreement to sell its group's ERP business based on Dynamics 365 Business Central and LS Retail solutions to Norway-based Azets for up to EUR 20 million ($21.9 million). The sale is set to be completed on May 2, 2023.
The asset deal covers the professional services, employees, and customers related to Solteq's D365BC and LS Retail businesses. When the transaction closes, all Solteq's assets and liabilities will be transferred to Azets, with the exception of accounts receivable and accounts payable, according to the companies. As part of the acquisition, some 60 people working in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark will transfer to the Azets team.
"Combining the competences of the acquired business and Azets around Business Central and LS Retail is part of our ambition to become a major implementation partner and provider of Business Central based services and solutions internationally, with strong opportunities to grow through our local and international customers and our presence across Europe," said Ulla Nikkanen, CEO of Azets Insight Oy.
