Microsoft advances Datadog partnership with Azure Arc integration

In a bid to enhance observability for complex, distributed environments, Microsoft announced that an integration between Azure Arc and Datadog is now generally available. Building on an existing partnership between the two companies, the new capability allows observability of resources in Datadog dashboards.

Customers will be able to monitor connection status and the agent version of Arc-enabled servers, add Azure tags, spot Arc-enabled servers with the Datadog agent installed, and unify billing between Azure and Datadog. Microsoft first integrated Datadog’s ISV offering with Azure in September 2020, incorporating 600 unique integrations for large-scale app observability.

By partnering with organizations like Datadog, we are unlocking even more innovation and bringing Azure services into the tools our customers are already using,” wrote Pang Ngernsupaluck, Director of Product Marketing for Azure Hybrid.
