Her role, "Senior Director Scale Growth", which she announced recently on LinkedIn, will be focused on accelerating growth in the SMB business applications user base. As part of the engineering group, Flombaum will be working for Business Applications CTO Mike Ehrenberg and alongside VP of SMB Mike Morton. In a new interview with MSDW, she explained that the unique job title reflects the new position that will take a broader view of success in the SMB space.

I have worked with Dynamics and Power Platform SMB partners for a very long time. I believe I bring into this role an ability to bring together answers to questions such as: What are we going to offer to these customers and how? Which customers are we going to target? What does the competitive landscape look like in this space? What is our unique differentiator in this segment? Leveraging customer and partner input, I’m hoping I can bring it all together and construct an aggressive growth plan company-wide for Business Applications in SMB that puts the customer at the center and aligns Microsoft’s unique differentiators to their needs.

Flombaum says that in meeting with Business Applications CVP Charles Lamanna to define this role, much of the focus was on achieving future growth in the SMB space based on Dynamics 365 Business Central's successes.
