Wallaroo Labs launches edge machine learning support; Difenda deploys eight new services; SAS Viya on offer in Azure Marketplace; and UiPath announces collaboration with Microsoft.

Wallaroo Labs launches edge machine learning support

Wallaroo Labs announced the availability of Wallaroo Enterprise Edition on Azure Marketplace. Designed for A/B testing, operationalizing ML workloads, and MLOps, the offering provides customers with an inference engine. Wallaroo is currently working toward co-sell status with Microsoft.

At the same time, Wallaroo launched the Air Gap Edge Deploy functionality, which is aimed at supporting remote oil platforms and transmission lines with edge machine learning models.

“Our fastest growing opportunity space has been Edge ML as you look at how equipment and facilities are generating more sensor data than ever. Enterprises are looking to deploy ML at the edge for use cases where latency matters most, such as smart factories, autonomous vehicles, or routing optimization. With our Air gap solution, enterprises can still deliver value from their AI programs even when there is little or no connectivity,” stated Younes Amar, Head of Product at Wallaroo.

Difenda deploys eight new services

Difenda has expanded to offer eight new services through Azure Marketplace. The managed and professional services are packaged under Difenda Microsoft Information Protection & Governance. Intended to support security needs, the offerings include MDR for IT, MDR for OT, M-SIEM, M-EDR, Sentinel Design & Implementation, Defender for Endpoint Design & Implementation, E2E, and IP&G.

Difenda's expertise will continue to improve the security of our mutual customers' systems,” said Kevin Magee, Chief Security Officer, Microsoft Canada, in a statement.
